More to Ponder

I met with I17 in between my events as planned. It went pretty much as I expected. He's a good person, but there wasn't anything special that stood out about him. He wasn't particularly attractive and wasn't particularly interesting...wasn't particularly anything...in a good or bad way. So when he asked if I was interested in seeing each other again, I said I had to ponder it. That lead to discussions on what ponder meant, appreciation for my honesty, and how my approaches to dates have changed over the years. Eh.

do you really know someone after a emails, phone calls and a few meetings to know if someone is the one you like?

doesn't it take time to warm up to someone? though i guess if you want the instant sparks then he might not be the one?

you may realize something about him you like later?

I am all one for gut, so if you are not feeling the spark, let the guy do some work. If he follows up, then give it a chance. If he doesn't call, then move on.

I'm trying to trust my gut more, and make quicker decisions. In the past I would have given him another try, but I'm trying not to waste either party's time. I did give him my email and said to be in touch. I'm curious if he will contact me.
